• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

forgot how fast

I can almost, ALMOST see someone thinking an L67 is respectably quick compared to most cars on the road.

But seriously, if you want to use quick in the same paragraph as an L36, I don't know what you've been driving. I can't pull away from traffic at stop lights... 40% throttle is the same as 100%.

^^^I like what you said.Quick would be a better word to describe a stock (Or mildly modded) GTP.Now an L36 car...........Quick may be too strong of a word.LOL

Bonne is 300 pounds heavier and badly geared.. so ya lols

My buddy has a ssei. I like the looks and comfy interior. My impala's interior is better then a prix but not even close to a bonne's interior. So not a pos in every aspect lol

Eh the SSEis are nice. I almost have an SSEi. I just need HUD and the SC. I'm just mad that it's NA. I'm scared to TopSwap cause she's my daily.

Remember that for almost any model year, GTP/ SSEi/Regal GS/Ultra/SS were only a small fraction of the total number of cars sold under that nameplate - the vast majority of GP's for instance were SE or GT's, I think only something like 15% of them sold were GTP's, however over-represented they are here.

So, yes, to the wider world, a GTP, especially if modded, is 'fast'.

Remember how many Civic's and Neon's and Cavalier's are out there, especially the ones with the soda can exhausts and non-functional hood scoops.

I've seen stock N/A GT's eat them for breakfast.

regal GS are 32% of all regal's sold. even with those low numbers, they are out there, and for sale.

cl in my area also has a lot of gtp's listed.

I know there are several up north OKC/Tulsa and down in the DFW area, but middle ground like I am, I have one of the nicest GPs. I see alot of GPs but 90% of them are base models or GTs, hardly any GTPs. Not to mention most people run them into the ground, no washing, cleaning, maintenance, etc... I have seen everything from dragging bumpers to driving on all 4 donuts (not even sure where they got 3 matching ones) and a few "passer-by" people with nice ones, waved to a guy with a red GTP Coupe that was all decked out and lowered, I was in awe. And there was a kid early summer I kept trying to get to stop so we could talk, I could hear the blower whining at idle, figured he may be on one of the boards and have some mods, but he would always race off and never stop... then it was up for sale with a blown motor. :th_shakinghead1: They will never learn. I was sad.

i see so many gtp's here, gp's too, a bit more.

i see more century's then any other w body tho lol

i got a few ss impalas i see,(one is a dale JR, the other a intimidater) a few gs's, ones a gtx and mint, another is a cream white GS with the same spoiler i got.(looks pretty damn good too) and 2 LS models that are in tip top shape. must be owned by old timers as they never leave the driveways they are parked in lol. and a few gtp's i see regularly, only one is 1/2 decent looking. and 3 bonnie ssie's running around, all in fairly good looking shape.

GTPs are a dime a dozen here, GSs are also fairly common. SSEis not so much, but you could still find one. Park Ave Ultras and Charged Rivs are even tougher to find. LSSs are essentially non-existent.

Also, I'd love to turbo my car, but that is super expensive.

My grandpa has an early 90s park avenue with the supercharged series 1. Thing is in great shape and it's got less than 120k on it I believe

15% is the average of GTP's per model year. 15% of 100,000 is still 15,000 GTP's per model year. That is still A LOT of GTP's.
