• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

What did you do to your Car today?

Detailed my car but my work and effort didnt last too long after getting soaked with 2 rounds of heavy rain, never freakin fails lol.

started to paint the calipers and do something different with the wheels but lost ambition for tonight, will finish tomorrow ;)

i have a 450 dollar impact i shouldn't need a breaker bar lol

Might need to apply a bit of heat to the bolt. I ended up paying a mobile mechanic to get mid off the first time..took a 100 gallon compressor a good ass impact and some heat. Did end up fudging up my HB though so you may want to be careful. Or put a set of vice grips on the flex pipe and bust out the breaker bar.

Custom fit Bonneville mirrors and reworked wiring harnesses to work from 4 wire to three. Drivers side half shaft and grease seal to dif.

i ended up doing the starter bump with a breaker bar to break the lock tite or whatever sealant they used on it then hit it with the impact

Worked on my Impala. Wiped most of the pollen that had caked up in the lip of the trunk. Decided to try to find which rear hub has a short that is throwing the Service Traction System. Got to the third lugnut on the first wheel, and stripped it trying to loosen it. "Incentive" to now buy black lug nuts. I'll just leave it alone until my next tire rotation.

Picked dad up a set of 17" rims for his 77 cougar for $200 with tires and started polishing one up and they look awesome.

no, it just seems odd that people work on their cars in open shoes, or no shoes at all.

and im a tender foot, i wear shoe if out side the house. i cant stand a pebble in my shoe, never mind walk bare foot out side.

I only had shoes on because I just got home from work and the kids were running around while I polished the one rim.

O ok. I've worked in cars barefoot before. Stupid though and I probably shouldn't. Its asking for broken toes.

X2. I seldom wear flip flops. Never barefooted unless I'm in the house.
