Probly a loose bolt if its the oil pan, shouldn't be anything serious unless its inside the engine, but keep us updated when you find the problem

It sounds like its coming from inside the engine. But I'm selling my Buick so when it sells I might just drop that money into a brand new bottom end from zzp. One of there short blocks

Is it making the noise while you are driving or right after you start it up? If its right after you start it up, it could just be a lifter tap, possible a gauge in the belt if your belts are a little old, could be a loose tensioner, lots of options brotha

I will try. I brought it in to work and put it on the lift. All the guys thought it was probably a rod but I'm charging my phone now. So I'll see if the sound quality will be good enough to hear the knock on my phone
