I have read T30 in the past.
Yeah, it is a t30. I swapped my cam out yesterday. And despite trying to be good with the thrust plate screws, I did strip one. The head was seized to the plate. Sheared off 2 bits before stripping it with the 3rd. Drilled the head and popped the plate. Will be getting a new screw on Monday.
This is not a great picture, but this is what I used for the end of the balancer pulley pullery tool. This is a small piece of 3/8" pex and a large nail that will fit inside it. Took the nail and cut off the end to the desired length. The nail of the head went inside the hole and the pex piece just for some added security against damaging the internal threads.

I would do a timing chain and damper while your in there
Water pump and oil gears.. lol. No reason to replace good parts with more good parts.
I am doing the timing chain and dampener. That was a no questions asked deal. Thanks guys! Sunday-Tuesday are the days im doing the install!
EDIT: Anyone want to provide a link to the CORRECT lube to use. I have been told molly grease and i have been told assembly lube? Which one??!?!?

i used this and grabbed it at the parts store for my rebuild. $7 at Oreilly's it adheres to metal to prevent destructive metal to metal contact during break in. Damage can normally occur during startup when oil pressure is normally the lowest. It has moly Graphite. Moly is really greasy like bacon grease it lingers to protect. try to wipe it off and it is still there. The Graphite in it i think is synthetic and has lots of carbon and is good for lubrication because it can withstand high temps.
