Re: Her names Delilah...and shes being a good girl

Delilah is now back together and just drove 4 miles fine. I will do a good drive test later to check for the gay as* wobble

Re: Her names Delilah......wobble wobble wobble

ok so the following is what a guy on gmls4.com said to do. ive already done some of it but im gonna do it all again. I will post up all the pics and all on here as well for you all to see and help

That's fine! Mainly I want to see if the proper parts were sold to you for the tie rod ends and ball joints.
before loosening the wheels jack up one side and check top to bottom play and side to side for the ball joint and the tie rod. Also if you have a pair of channel lock pliers place them over the tie rod end from top to bottom and squeeze, there should be no more than 1/16" free play (compression) in there.
next with that tire still in the air and park brake applied, start the car and turn the traction control off. Put the car in gear and let the raised wheel spin on it`s own. Now be very careful and no loose clothing, reach in between the tire and fender at the top/center and touch/hold the coil spring... it should be very smooth (here you will feel the actual wheel bearing (amplified thru the spring) as it is rotating) no vibrations or roughness at all. Repeat this on the other side of the car when you get the first side inspected and reinstalled tire after pics.
for the tires I want to see if the very edge of the inner and/or outer threads are starting to feather they should be perfect sharp 90*
for the lower control arm I want to see the bushing real good, but while you are getting the pic check the surrounding area of the cradle as there have been cracks found in that area.
also while you there verify that the steering rack is tight (bolts)
