• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

What did you do to your Car today?

Got this in the mail today...

Beat on it pretty good to see how the much of a difference the trans cooler makes. Idk it's not really that hot here (73 degrees) today, but the temps hovered around 200 degrees with me beating on it isn't bad. In traffic after the beating it cooled down pretty fast and never got above 180 ish. Even if it only helps a little, the $40 bucks was worth it imo.

40 bucks.... where?

I drove it to Orlando, and spent almost 30 minutes looking for a parking spot. Stupid Disney World people trying to make me late for my Killswitch concert.

Also, I honked at a white, lowered 4 door GTP, and it honked back at me. Best story ever.

Drove it to work. Damn car is filthy (shop parking lot is gravel and next to a train track)
shes gonna need a cleaning this weekend for sure

I think I have you topped. My work lot is mostly gravel, plus we have water trucks coming in and out all day for the fracking sites, and there is a train track about 100 feet away.

And I'm thinking about what I want to do with the tail lights... should I tint the whole thing or just paint the outside part (the darker red part) black like I did on my 05..?

I simply took the clip off the radiator top and bottom, and put hose clamps on the trans lines into the trans cooler.

So you had to run a lot of hose then. From the bottom of the condenser area, to the top of the radiator, and the bottom for the bottom line

Which means your trans temps are at that temp, or higher. There's no need to have a trans temp be over 200°F or higher. Nothing better happens as the temps get higher, especially on my trans which slows the shifts down. Still there are people totally against installing a cooler, idk what's wrong with them. If it's the money, then they should speak for themselves.

I know it's bad. Especially when I drive hard in the city.
I want to install that cooler. I just want to see someone who did it be4 me

I'd like to see that, since I'm not sure how to secure it. Also I'm wondering how big the coolers are, and what will fit. I'd like the biggest possible for the summer. In the winter I can't have that since it would never warm up, so I would either cover it with something, or buy the smallest one and use it in the winter.
