• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

We made a 3`Stainless straight ultra quiet exhaust and WOW, what a difference...

wicked passes man. i hope to perfect my launches and dish out wicked times.
i have a pet peeve when it comes to drag strips.
people spinning street tires in the wet box.... it is useless and does nothing but make your tires less productive. the hotter street tires are the slicker they are. they are the complete opposite of drag slicks.
not only are you messing up your street tires but, your heating up your engine before you even launch.

very annoying to me. i know your thinking, who am i to talk, i cant even launch my car. I am just annoyed by noob things like that.
PS- your still one of my idols when it comes to GPs

lol Thanks Tek !

You would be correct for most street tires. Burnouts are useless and might even slow you down.
If you notice my best pass of the day had no burnout and I pulled a 1.995 60 foot on winter tires.

But later in the day, the sun went away the track got cold and the traction was gone.
Then I decided one time to do a little burnout. I got back what I lost in traction... my best 60 foot of the day was after a small burnout 1.992.
And the track was slicker at that point.

On a hot sunny day with a lot of compound, I wouldn't do any burnout for sure.

Wow, that's moving. Congrats.

BTW, with that small of a pulley and no intercooler, you'll probably pick up over 100whp on a 75 wet shot.

That's what I'm thinking but I have a good shifting trans right now, I don't want to jinx it...

I'm trying to decide if I put in the twin engine now or make a run at an 11 sec FWD run.

Having twin engine twin trans will make it easier on the transmissions...

Yeah, I'm guessing that you'll be able to get a stock trans to hold up pretty well after you get the other motor/trans in there.

Go for 11's. You probably only need about a 50 shot to get there. Just keep your shifts from being too firm, especially on the 1-->2.

I was thinking of using nitrous on a button and activate after the 1-2 shift to prevent the shock and let off before the 2-3 shift.
That should help my E.T. I don't need any nitrous in 1st, I have enough power.
