Its not even the entire state thats cool for a week. Its one podunk town.

List of 1/4 mile tracks in the midwest next to list of nearest cities with **** to do?

I think if you look at Davenport/Quad cities area and Cordova raceway, it would be a good time. I80 as central and easy to get to as it gets.

There are a lot of places along the Mississippi river to cruise and take shots at. Hell we could make one day a cruise along it, if anyone watches american pickers they both have shops open about 45 min apart.

The problem with cruising is everyone drove at least some distance to get to the location, so they don't want to be sitting all day or wasting the gas.
