Already have a plan for more gauges eventually.

:th_king-evil:

Trans Temp & Fuel Pressure down in the center cubby hole.

7 Gauges total? Now that's RaceKer.

now i love all the things you have done to this by up until now. i would understand if you frequently attend races, or were a "legit street racer"

these things are just not needed.

i have no gauges :/ dont get me wrong, i feel like an aeroforce is a needed thing for our car, but i have a phone holder i stick on my windshield for my torque app, which tells me everything that gauge tells you for a total of 35 bucks.

i would like a wideband and boost gauge, thats it for me. maybe oil pressure too

i see too many cars rolling around with airplane cockpits, why? why do you need this? you dont.

anyways, love the car minus the NASA console,

Lol I like all the lights too..ive been contemplating a zzp pillar pod but dk if I wanna dish out the $90..n id like to have that man guages because the af only dispkays 2 parameters at a time n I dont like switching thru while im driving. Looks good man you habe a really nice car!

So you have an Aeroforce.

You want a WB, Boost gauge, and Oil pressure. That's basically all the gauges I have... So I don't get your logic.

You don't have to like it, because it's my car. There is reason why I have each gauge, plus I like gauges.

Well I ever get the Fuel pressure and Trans temp gauge? Maybe, but not soon. I'll do that when I'm bored with the car.

Just start slowly saving up.

Buy the gauge pod, and then buy each gauge when you get money. No need to buy all the gauges all at once. Even though it is simpler that way.

I bought each gauge separately. It's taken me about a year to get the 5 gauges I have.

Thanks for the compliment though. Next car show we have locally, I'll be attending it with my car, parked right next to yours.

Re: 1997 Black GTP, Gauges Complete.

meant no disrespect. my car will likely never look as good as yours.

i will just go with a hud pod likely.

Haha right, I have the af n a pro sport boost guage (same as glowshift pretty much) I never took out of the box..idk what other guage would be most useful to me. N thanks man. It sucks you 3 that came out are that far from me.

I guess I took you wrong.

Is it overkill? Yes, I do agree. Do I need everything? No.

But my theory, Why not have it? lol

I basically have it all, just to say I have it. Yeah, Im tough.

^ WB, Aeroforce and oil pressure

Yes.

You have an Aeroforce. Wideband is a very essential gauge as well. And Oil pressure.

Everything else is not really needed, especially since the AF basically reads it all.

Re: 1997 Black GTP, Gauges Complete.

I'm guilty of having 5 myself lol Aeroforce, Boost, Wideband A/F, Trans Temp, and Voltage. Still need to get oil press lol :)

Lookin good Dan :)

Re: 1997 Black GTP, Gauges Complete.

An aeroforce is absolutely necessary. I have this gauge to scan for KR.

A wideband is an awesome gauge to have when it comes to tuning. I have this gauge for future reference when ever my car gets retuned.

My oil pressure gauge, I have because not to long ago, I had a huge oil leak (Oil filter wasnt on properly, had two gaskets) and had no idea when pulling my car out of the garage. Car lost almost 3 quarts of oil in a matter of seconds. So I bought an Oil Pressure gauge b/c of that situation.

My volts gauge, I have because I'm running two large amps for my system and I am always tinkering with it with the car off, so it comes in very handy to keep an eye on my battery. Another reason I have this gauge is because my alternator died randomly, when I was on my way home from a vacation with my girlfriend. Left us stranded 3 hours away from any person in our family.

Finally, my boost gauge. I have a boost gauge because.... Well my car is boosted.

Thanks.

this is what i was hinting at wanting to know...

Re: 1997 Black GTP, She's Currently A Light Show.

Just a repost of the awesomeness that is RACEKAR status.

Good work Dano, I R Jelly agains. This car just keeps getting better and better, I need to get the lead out and play catch up!!!

Thank you Master Chef.

I also have a radar detector in the top left corner above my Volts gauge, just to add to the RaceKer status. You just cant see it in the picture.

Time for you to start catching up, roommate. Even though you don't know it, we are secretly in a competition.
