Hey guys/gals...

For those that didn't make it to the Dells last weekend, or for those that didn't feel like driving AS far...

I was considering doing a Test N' Tune night at Heartland Park Topeka...see website here: Heartland Park of Topeka | Dirt Track, Road, and Drag Racing | Topeka, KS

There is a TNT on October 25th, which is a Friday night, from 6:30-10:30 pm.

There are a bunch of STL/Missouri guys wanting to do a meet according to Facebook, so it would be nice to get some more cars from around the country to come down to the area close to where most of these cars were built (At the Fairfax plant in KCK), and where all the Grand Prix Gathering's used to happen a decade ago (well, at KCIR...but that's since closed down...so we'd have to make do with something down the highway instead). Even though I don't have a GP anymore, I know Spade was wanting to do something too this fall as well.

Thoughts people?

Total random shot in the park right now...figures it gives people a few months and it wouldn't be very expensive of a trip either.

Would you guys like to stay in Topeka? Or hit the Power and Light District after the track and hotel check in on Friday night? There is a pretty BA gokart track named Sadler's that is close...not very cheap per say tho...IMO, worth it. It's *****ing. Lots of places to choose from for foods as well.

Track is TNT from 6:30-10:30, October 25th is the day that seems to be best.

I've driven to Michigan, in the Balt.

10+ hrs.

It's not THAT bad.

any farther than 4-5 hours is pretty much out of the question nowadays. that soaks up too much time for me.

Between distance, college, and work it would be out of the question for me. If it were before school started back up thats a possibility.

I think we have more meet active members closer to Iowa.

STL's track sucked last I remember.

Gateway International...pretty sure it closed down, then was re-opened.
