opinions? I dont know what direction to go if my car doesnt sell

okay so right now I have my gtp (1997 2 door w/161,000miles) up for sale on craigslist and here,but if it doesnt sell in a couple months i want to rebuild it and continue driving it. The motor is pretty much junk,I know for sure that the piston in cylinder one is destroyed and based on what i saw in cylinder one(I used a bore scope to look inside the cylinder),I am guessing that the rest of the pistons are either junk or really close to junk,so since i dont know how much damage is actually done and how expensive replacement parts are for these cars my question is would it be better to just buy a used motor and throw that one in or would it be better to just rebuild the motor in the car???? I'm not sure which way to go.
 


alright cause i remember reading something somewhere about stuff from the 98's not working on any other year of car
