My girlfriend decieded to buy my a downpipe for my birthday (yes she rocks!!) :th_kissing: I have already ordered and recived parts from zzp before, and we ordered the d/p from zzp, and 2 days later I get an e-mail from them saying they need to see my license or some form of ID because the shipping address is not the same as the billing address????????????? THEY HAVE ALREADY SHIPPED ME PARTS WITH THAT SAME SHIPPING ADDRESS.... AND GUESS WHAT??? THE BILLING ADDRESS WAS THE SAME AS IT IS NOW!!!!! For some reason they cant figure out that shipping parts to my work is a better idea than shipping the parts to my house (I work for a living and do not get to sit at home waiting for the ups guy) does any of this make sense? anybody reading this, if you can suggest another place to buy a 3" shorty d/p for as good or better deal than zzp, please let me know so I can cancel my order with zzp and not wast any more of my time (and money) on them. Thanks
 


lmao i sit at home and wait for the ups guy, i know who delivers on what days now :th_crazy:. You could always order your downpipe from the hogan performance website, iv'e even saw them on ebay.
 
Didn't something similar happen to TDC? I've only been saying f**k ZZP since I got on here about...what? a few months????!?

See a pattern :p
 
i dont know i still love zzp's parts, theyve never given me a problem before either and their shippings always really quick. i would stick with them, especially on exhaust parts, they make good quaility stuff.
 
yeah, bad business, people needs to make them realize that their customers are what keeps them in business.

We did this with a local speed shop a few years ago, after a month of no one giving his place business he sold it.

They do this for your own protection, just like any other company you order parts from should. Someone can easily get a hold of your credit card info. and order parts, but as long as the addresses match up, they know it is going to the right person. It also can depend on how much money it is, if it is an inexpensive part, it may not be worth the time and money to go through the trouble of confirming the addresses.

Did she give you cash to go and buy this or did she actually purchase it?
 
She geve me the cash after we ordered it. It is the exact same info from befor. I think they f**ked up, and are using that as an excuse to wait, because at the bottom of all that it has a little thing saying that I chose the wrong shipping option and they needed more money to send it. Ummmmmmmm maby I am wrong but if the option is on the checkout page?? Then it should work right? I looked around last night, and I can have one shipped to me off e-bay for about $150, with the extra money they are asking for, it would be over $200 for the one from ZZP.
 
I just looked on that hogan performance, and that is the one I found on ebay for about $50 less than ZZP. Is it any good?
 
Which one on EBay...only ones I ever see on EBay are the magnaflow ones and they are the stock size with a high flow cat they are pointless...
 
ZZP is just covering their butt. Not a big deal, just contact them and set things straight.

For what its worth, I have customers order from ZZP, and they drop ship to me for additional service on that part, or they are parts needed for what I am doing for them etc. So I don't know why this never causes problems for me or them, nobody has ever complained.

i just ordered my downpipe and converter from them on friday and it says my shipment is still pending. i hope this dont happen to me
 


Hogan builds these himself, and quality is top notch. He has the eye of detail, that sets his quality apart from others product.

If he does not offer it, he will surely build it for you, hes that kind of guy! Just ask if you want something custom, he wont turn you down. :th_thumbsup-wink:

ZZP shipped a $240 order to a different address than my billing address, though they called me first to be sure it was okay. I don't see what you're ranting about. The fact that they didn't catch it the first time I think is the issue. I prefer a company to take the time to make sure they're doing the right thing (especially with my money) as opposed to blindly going forward.
 
ordered my stuff on the 4th and its going on the 8th now and still no answering the phone and it is still saying that its pending after they have taken the money out of my account, talk about S*** service
 
this happened to me too, sat pending forever.... I called them a week later and he asked what my name was... he said he would call me back and let me know what happened

I never got a call back, however, my order was shipped the next day, but I never got an apology which disappointed me...

I suggest ordering by phone and not online when it comes to ZZP
