Has anyone here ever had any problems with shipping damage from ZZP?

I just got 2 boxes from zzp. One box included: Wizair, TB spacer, TB shield, s/c fluid, exhaust clamp, alternator rewire, alt voltage booster and magnetic drain plug.

There was not one piece of packaging foam or newspaper or anything in this box. Everything was basically piled on top of, in and around the wizair. The wizair got some scratches on the top cover from everything rubbing up against it and a corner or the wizair was poking out of the side of the box about a 1/4" inch. The alt rewire, tb shield and drain plug were not in any kind of bag whatsoever.


The other box had a 3" downpipe with gaskets and the o2 extension. This box had a ton of packaging material but was missing the o2 extension.
I did call zzp today and they shipped out the o2 extension right away.

I was just kinda pissed that I dropped 600$ and my material wasnt packed right.
 


No, they always came pretty well packaged... sounds like someone just got ahead of themselves in packaging...
 
Mine always come packaged well. Though, as a rule when I buy anything off the internet, I keep my camera handy as I open it to document anything that has happened. Old habit from working for FedEx.
 
zzp does pack very well, my SSm90 kit and short stack came packed up like gold bars. and they ship fast too especially here to NYC
 
u would be suprised 2 see what happens when u work at ups!

Every package I have received from ZZP was really well packed. UPS isn't the cause for the lack of padding, they do not pack the merchandise for ZZP, they do it themselves.
 
when i got my wiziar from zzp, it had the wizair, sparkplugs, wires, filter, and 02 extension all in one box. my wizair was wraped in some styrophone wrap and there was bubble wrap in the box. everything else was just placed in the box. sounds like some one at zzp forgot a step with yours. sucks that your lid got scrached.
 


I have ordered from ZZP a number of times, but my last purchase, I can say was less than stellar. They shipped one large box, containing 2 gallons of Dex 6, a tranny gasket, a new 02 sensor and the wiring harness. Needless to say the packaging was far from the quality I had received from them in the past. It was not packed fully and the ends got smooshed pretty good, but luckily nothing was damaged. It would have been messy with 2 1 gallon jugs of Dex6 dripping everywhere.

I would contact Zoomer and voice your concerns to him and take photos of the packaging and damage to the Wizair and send them to their CS email addy to see if they help out. Hopefully it will all work out for ya.

Yea they must have. When I called them yesterday to tell them the 02 extension wasnt there it was kind of awkward. I don't think the guy in shipping believed me, but he said he would send it. I actually got a shipping notice from UPS like 3 hours later saying it was on its way, cant complain there.

As far as the Wizair goes its kind of irriating, half the reason I went with the Wizair and not any other intake system was for the looks of it. I'm going to have to just deal with it though becuase I should have complained about it when I told them about the o2 extension.
