Zzp "race" battery a pita

ok so i needed a new battery so i figured id get a lightweight one since i dont have any aftermarket stereos etc. well the new battery comes in and i attempt to put it in but two probs arise. the battery hold down bracket doesnt work for the zzp piece since theres no lip on the new battery. ALSO the new battery has smaller holes for the terminal so i need to replace the pos/neg screws for the factory harness. idk what the track techs. deem a good enough battery hold down either so i dont want to get turned down when i get back...any suggestions? anybody use this battery?

It's a dry cell battery so you can put it on its side or any way you want. They have the measurements of the battery posted right where you buy it, most people who opt for this battery aren't afraid to put it in the trunk or want to make room for something else in the engine bay.

what in your opinion would be the best way to hold this battery down since i cant use the factory bracket? fab a custom one? would track techs fail me for having it zip tied a few ways? thanks for the help man

meh, it's okay. for $99 it isn't bad considering that it isn't meant to do anything, but start the car.

in comparison to a normal car battery the specs aren't all that special, but in your case it'll get the job done.

Multiple ways, but here's a few ideas:

Stealth 316 - Battery move to rear compartment
