ZZP Plug Wires

There seems to be some mixed reviews on the ZZP Plug wires. I want to pick up a set but the reviews on the ZZP website are pretty much half and half. Is there anyone on here that has them that has an likes/dislikes about them?
 


just buy the plug wires with the least resistance (ohms). after all thats the point of wires right? get the spark there the easiest

None of the ones I've looked up have the resistance listed in the descriptions. I can't really see how that would be an accurate way of looking at it anyway... the longer the wire, the more resistance.
 
I have them also, they've been on for about 7-8months or so, been through -10degree ice/snow weather and 102 degree scorching FL heat, and never had a problem with them, and they look great
 


I had PRJ's before, they caused ticking interference in my radio after about a year. I had a set of ZZP's and I chased misfires all over the motor even after they replaced two wires that the terminal pulled off the crimp on the plug side the first time I took them off. Put ACDelco wires on and all is good.

No, that is NOT the point of plug wires, there's a whole lot more to it than that. Static DC resistance doesn't correlate very well to a high voltage pulse from the ignition coils. If anything, lower resistance can mean more EMI/RFI which can screw with all of the electronic sensors in the vehicle, not to mention things like EFI. There are various methods of achieving this. If low resistance was the goal, we'd all be running solid core wires, but nobody runs those.

The ZZP wires are OK. The only thing they really gain over stock is durability, so you can judge for yourself if they're worth the money.
 
I was going to go with ZZP but am beginning to see some issues. I will still buy some of their stuff but maybe with a more critical eye.
