ZZP PCM and key fob programming

I am trying to program my key fob and I've done all the steps but it still doesn't work. Would there be any sort of issue with having a ZZP PCM and trying to program fobs?

The module is behind the dic. There’s a module A and a module B if I remember right. If you have your original key fob the part number is on the back. I’m not sure what numbers go with what module.

Are you trying to reprogram your original fob after installing a zzp pcm?

Make sure the battery in the fob isn’t dead, that should probably be the first thing to check.

Well since I bought the car back in 2014 the key fob has never worked. I've replaced batteries with no luck, so I just haven't used it. I recently came across the thread on here about reprogramming the fob, so that's why I've been trying recently, Yes I just replaced the battery on Saturday.

More than likely the arm that holds the battery is broken. I have soldered a few in the past and they worked until I bought some more off of ebay.

Agreed that is a big problem. I soldered mine when it happened to it. The other issue that happens is the buttons wear out and don't make good contact.

I had received 2 fobs with my car, neither one worked.
New battery & solder connections looked good.
I glued pieces of tin foil to the pads & got them both working.

Yes but don't throw your money away like that. I've bought the ones off Amazon and they work just as well. Sure the ebay ones are good too
