ZZP Heads VS Intense Heads

Which would you guys say is better? I'm just curious. I like how intense has the flow chart on their website.

Just wondering what your guys opinions are..especially those that have actually ran them on their car.

I did a search but I didn't really get anything.

heads from a local engine shop > vendor heads

youll pay 1/3 of the price and possibly get heads that perform better from a local shop that will port them for you. therefore, i choose none of the above. however, if i were to venture into it i bet they are nearly identical in how they perform compared to one another.

You know I ALWAYS thought about this shop that does heads. I drive by it EVERYDAY I work. I've always thought to myself that "they can't be much different than what ZZP/Intense do and they have to be a ton cheaper."

I get IS3/ZZPS3 Heads for more than half the price...if you want the info...shoot me a PM if your looking to get them done.

What do you need heads for or what are you running? Stock heads have made over 600whp on a turbo setup and over 360whp on xp cam s/c setups before. There's a point when cost per hp isn't there and heads can be considered at times one of them.

Dirt Cheap Heads, Do it your self.. But be ready to spend hours and hour's doing so.. There's an amazing write up a freind of mine posted up on clubgp just how to do so and it's a sticky there.

Cheap, Have them done local..

Bang for the Buck, ZZP CNC'ed Heads.. Nice head for the money!

High Dollar Heads, IMO ZZP cast head's own all.. But that's just my thought.

Baller, Go pick up some Aluminum Heads..

I've owned every set I've listed above besides the cast iron fully worked zzp heads. Dollar wise the CNC heads where the best bang for the buck, but I also put about 30 hours into a set of my own stock vavled ported heads that I feel flowed just as well if not better then the cnc heads. But I have no ture flow bench number's to prove that. I cant say much about the Aluminum Heads yet because I've yet to bolt them to my short block yet I've been around some Intense Heads and it left a bit to be desired IMO.. But to each their own. No matter what heads you put on the car it's going to be better then it was. Are heads suck it's just that simple. Even fully worked oversized vavle heads dont flow very well. But it's better then nothing.

I mean I had mine fully done for about $700...fully assembled...only thing I didn't have done was get the bowls polished...and I did a little of that myself before they went on anyways...there are pics of them in my thread in the rides section if you click on my build.

I have a lot of pics of S3 heads if anyone wants to see what's done.
