My ZZP MPS finally arrived. Unfortunately, it's made for an 8 rib belt. I reviewed the auction on which I purchased; it says nothing about being an 8 ribber.

So...are these units all sold as 8 rib now, such that 2 ribs will simply be left virgin when coupled to my 6 rib supercharger belt? Or will I be sending this back and waiting another 4 weeks...

My concern being with the offset for the abovementioned case.

Make sure you sit the belt so that the two ribs FURTHEST FROM THE BLOWER are left unused, any other combination will lead to your belt not being aligned correctly.
 
The belt will sit where it wants. On my 3.5 it was on the inside, old 3.4 outside, 3.2 middle, new 3.4 middle.
 




More parts to stock, I agree with you on that Bio. If we ventured a guess though, what is the ratio of 6 rib to 8 rib pullies? Maybe 10:1. That's where I'm going with this....
 
im sure it is even bigger than that for 6 rib setups. out of the time ive spent around this scene ive seen less than 10 people with 8 rib setups.
