• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

I need to double check on the laws for up here, but that 15% looks damn good on silver. Lol

When's that front lip going on?

Haha thanks! And as soon as life slows down some. Garage has been filled with crap for a garage sale my mom is trying to have so it's buried somewhere behind it all. I want to modify a stock valence so it uses stock tabs stil, Unless anyone else has a better idea on how to mount it?

When you pull the factory front lip off, the inferno lip should clip directly into the bottom edge of the bumper and "wrap" over the factory lower valence. It should all line up with the push tabs and screw holes.

Hmm I haven't seen much about it that way and never had time to look at it and pull the stock one off. Maybe I'll make it this weekends task. Thank you!

Ugh.. Yea IIRC the inferno required more then just that and exactly why SE > Inferno ;)

Forgot where I left off:
Grand Prix is tinted all the way with 15%.

Picked up 1.9 yella terra rockers with believed to be 90# springs and stock pushrods (unfortunately need to find 5/16 x 0.83" x 7.30" to run these)

Working on getting inferno lip on the car. Got a stock valence and cut the middle section out. Trying to get it to sit flat across the entire top and glue it on so it can be put on and removed like stock for the winter time

Took the kv5's off today and got them painted.
1) Used citrus cleaner to remove dirt and grease
2) wet sanded 1000 grit, then 1500 grit, cleaned off again, and dried
3) Taped off the wheels and rivets
4) Apply self etching primer for 2 light coats, 10 mins between each coat, and then apply one heavy coat
5) Wait 20 mins then apply duplicolor hyper silver paint for 2 light coats waiting 10 mins between each coat and then apply one heavy coat (it has a textured appearance when you spray it)
6) Wait 20 mins then apply high temp clear enamel for 2 light coats waiting 10 mins between each coat, then apply one last heavy coat to sit for a few days.
Overall very happy with the color, despite a few runs in the clear.

Lip is back and has the stock valence molded to it. Hope to be putting it on tomorrow

PSA: When installing the inferno lip, MAKE SURE you have clearance behind it so you do not break the molded pieces when trying to put it on (you will be pissed if you do, trust me I would know). The plastic fin behind the center post of the stock valence HAS to be trimmed so the lip will fit.
Wheels have a slight darker grey/gunmetal appearance to them, but really like it. Car will be cleaned tomorrow for the Woodward Dream cruise
