Z28 vs Monte SS

Was comin home from dinner the other night and a super nice lookin monte ss pulled out next to me when i noticed the a-piller triple pod. Looked over at the fiance and we both knew what was about to come. the guy comes flying up on me and all i hear is whine, so i punched it nd walked past him with ease. We both pulled up to the next light and bull****ted, guy basically said I wasnt gonna get him this time, mind you my trans mount is ****ed and my tranny smacks the floor if i punch it from a slow roll. So the light turns green and he guns it as i ease into the throttle, he gains about 2 cars off the bat. i finally get full throttle and pass him at about 40 like he was standing still. Ran him to about 100 when i shut down and had about 5-6 cars on him. He pulled up next to me at the next light and wouldnt believe me that my car is BONE stock minus a muffler that is rotted out lol. his mods were a 3.4 pulley drop, headers and exhaust and a tune.

So you bus'd a pullied monte with a bone stock lt1 z28? OH, this is going to twist JCmonte's pantys all up....lulz. Good kill man.
 
Good thing Chyes can only read this place from a Proxy and cry in his room with Runescape playing its intro song playing over and over.

And good job...I figured a basic 3.4" setup Monte is probably low 14's...which is about where a stock LT1 sits...
 
5-6 cars, yours stock and his modded.... just doesnt add up. maybe he had some major KR? or slipping tranny? idk just doenst sound right

no it doesnt, I built my old man a stock 94 Z28 with just a Flowmaster exhaust and my GTP beat him and all i have is headers, 3.4 and flow work.

LT1 cars aren't fast stock...low 14's aren't fast...bruh.

It took a cam/heads/gear LT1 to beat my XP'd setup.

I ran high 13s bone stock in my lt1.
It runs 11s cam stall now.

Thats either a gutted stripped m90 build or turbo to catch it.

My lt1 is almost a full second faster than my XP l26 e85 car
 
i ran a 14.26 in my LT1 heat soaked with the throw-the-airbox-in-the-backseat mod. consistent 14.4-14.6 in 90* weather. i figure a proper 3.4" L67 should take that
 
My 3.4 setup ran a 14 flat with horrible 60'. I'd say it was definitely a good setup, it was my first track outing ever as well. I never had problems fending off LTslows.
 
kwaz i need to get motor/tranny mounts for my z. but yes it was a good 5-6 car lengths. maybe the guy really doesnt have a 3.4 pulley drop and was just saying he did? but i had my fiance in the car and he had a passenger also. driver mod needed on his part maybe? ill ask to look under the hood next time i run into him. i always see him driving around

ppl want to race me all the time and they do , but i just drive normally and laugh at them.

I know of a few "LTslows" that will give you....problems.

did i say low 14's are fast?? nope. what i said was i was surprised his STOCK LT1 beat a MODDED gtp by 5-6 cars...
i think you got confused on what i was saying..
