Your craigslist finds, ricers, personals, stupidity, etc

We had a dumbass that claimed to have built all these high horsepower DSMs and 3000GT's, but then would ask the dumbest questions that even a novice would know, then would argue with you when you gave him the answer.

Thankfully, just like Tim, he was banned after countless arguments and just plain stupidity.
 




I showed this to a co-worker that used to work for Interstate Batteries. He said they had one too.....

Wasn't everything pretty much an option in 97?
IIRC the base 97 GT had manual cloth seats, and a tape deck.
Leather, Hud, cd, 8 speaker system, cd changer, spoiler, sunroof(might have been a dealer addon option?), and GTP package(L67 and 4t65e-HD. Basically you could get a 97 GTP with none of the previous options.

Here's one for you guys, 168k low miles? I wish I could have caught the previous ad where he mentioned have the supercharger pulley "adjusted" for more horsepower. Sad reality is I went to highschool with this guy, outside of his shady car flipping and 100% fabbed story's about modifying and maintenance, he is an alright guy. He grabbed this car for 400 bucks (great deal) it has a ready to fail CV axle that managed to coat the drivers side undercarriage in grease, the side mirrors are held on with sheetrock screws and part of the rear bumper is stitched together with zip ties. This guy buys this junk under 500 makes absolutely no repairs (although will tell you he did) and sells to unsuspecting buyers for upwards of 3000 bucks consistently (mainly to highschool aged kids, first time car buyers) occasionally something breaks that involves an immediate repair and he dumps the car in my lap for usually less than he paid. I'm kinda hoping that CV axle goes soon so I can snag this Bonneville up and use it for work. Sorry about the long rant, I flip cars too but I have a heart and can't sell someone something i know is junk :/
