yup! also have the non bose 8 speaker system..counting the tweeters..thought my car was a 97 but ive seen 97s with everything plus digital hvac?...

yep my 98 gt had the 8 speaker non bose. I don't believe bose was available for the premium sound system until 99 or 2000?

My car was fully loaded except HUD and digital DIC.

Quick way to know if any gp is a 97.. look for an external antenna. only the 97's had them.
 
It's got weight reduction bro and look at the awesomeness of all those wires under the hood oh and let's not forget hood pins. I just don't understand how guys expect to sell their cars when you have a dangle of exposed wires.
 


looking at it closer.....it sure had an engine fire at one time. sc is burnt black and valve covers look a little black as well. that would explain some of the exposed wires.
