From everything I have read those northstars are a lot more reliable than the previous northstars. They supposedly fixed the head bolt issues in 2002 ish.

^ yup. The newer N* aren't bad motor.. Yes they are a pain to work on though not much space and things cramped.

pretty sure it was 2005, like 95% sure... And the rwd northstar aren't bad at all. (Sts, srx)
