Yes you could, maybe the guy would let you pull the belt before you buy to verify its the supercharger making the knock. When I thought my s/c was going in my rivi I was 80 miles from home, I yanked the belt and drove her home. Turned out it was just the coupler but god did it sound bad.

He must be figuring I. The insane interest rate someone who is desperate and has poor credit would be willing to pay haha serious though, when I met my wife she had been buying a 01 regal ls from a in house finance place that was charging her 28 percent interest on top of a sale price of 6500! The thing had 160k on it ! I made her return that car and cut her losses.
