Actually yes, it helps keep the front of the car down. The lower you can keep the front of the car the more traction you will have. ZZP's and Intense's cars had wheelie bars on them.

that car went under a truck for sure. all that damage could happen at 15 mph or less i bet. cars are made to crumble like stale bread these days.

I went under a truck at around 40mph (honestly not 100% on speed because I was at 60ish when I locked the brakes and the roads were wet from rain so not sure how much I slowed down) and didn't do near that damage.

That damage isn't really that bad, sometimes it takes quite a bit to deply the air bags, or sometimes hardly anything. I know this because I look at lots of salvage auction cars.

I've noticed a trend... people around here who own tractors CANNOT distinguish Ams from Prixs. If they mention your car, its an Am. If they need to sell an Am, its a Prix. Call them out on it and YOU'RE the stupid one because they are "all little Pontiacs"! :th_thumb-down:

I guess Prix gets more clicks. It definitely should. Every time I try to explain the difference, I get the "you're lying" look. Its OK, I just call their Rams Dakotas and F-whatevers Rangers and feel like I've made my point lol.
