I've driven them before, and they are a lot of fun, but in all honesty I wouldnt own one. Every single time we went anywhere in my buddies (bolt on's and a tune) every single person in a ricer would try and race us. Every person in a pick'em up truck who thought they were hot **** would try and race. Every single mustang owner would try and race. It got really old, really fast.

They are neat cars, and have their perks (decent gas mileage if driven sanely, stick, sound good, etc) but for the cost of his insurance, and the amount of attention (not good attention) the car gets, I'd pass.

just get a supra and be 12012318 times more awesome.
 
I actually found a supra in Ohio a 1997 with 57k on it totally stock for 35k which is my goal after college to have one and make it have a conservative 600 whp with the help of Titan motorsports and just decimate all after we put 15k or more into it and if necessary we overnight parts from japan. But in all seriousness I plan to have one like directly after school mileage doesn't matter cause it'll be getting a build anyway
