Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

Living in AZ it gets hot, batteries have a much higher mortality than in other states. The Nature of the Beast. This problem has me wondering, just noticd it on Saturday.

The Car, 2006 Grand Prix (non Turbo) 3.8 liter

When it's hot outside (105+) when the car is started the AC does not get cool, the vents blow hot air, the blower fan will (if set on high) vary between nearly off to full power on it's own. As I scanned the guages (this may be telling) the ammeter (digital read out) voltage varies from 12.6 vlts to as high as 14.7 volts. This all done while sitting at idle. When you start diving it seems to all clear up. My first thought was the battery, maybe a weak cell. Then I thought it could be the alternator or a weak ground connection. Having the battery tested tomorrow, was wondering if anyone wants to try and see if they can grab the brass ring,

Thanks in advance....

Shot in the dark here but sounds like the alt to me as once you get moving the RPM's are higher so spinning the alt more. Also might be A/C compressor since that is also spun faster when driving also. My 1/2 cent but those are my thoughts on the subject.
