After searching for my own answer I think I came to the conclusion that it is only from engine to the downpipe. I would still need to buy a new downpipe!
As for the stock U-Bend that I currently have, would there be a way to cut off the stock U-Bend from the Cat Conv. and weld in a piece of my own 3"/2.5"/2.25" (whatever size tubing that section is) and weld it to the bracket and reattach?
