Young kid in gxp thinkin he is all hot stuff

whoa whoa whoa i dont hate gxp's :p i just dont like the people that think they have the fastest car in the world whne they have a gxp lol. I really dont mind gxp's at all
 


I don't either...they are great for what they are. It just seems people who own them think they have the best car that GM ever made...when in fact it really wasn't a well designed platform to begin with.

Lol stop saying that. If you want to make your car look stock, take the paint off the lower fascia and trade me spoilers, get some stock replacement tail lights since yours are tinted, and put regular corner lenses on, oh and hop off the lowering springs.
The only thing you can really even do now to your car is put a hood on it and get aftermarket wheels... you're far from stock looking.

Anyway, I had some kids, about 6 of them jam packed in a brand new civic coupe do this to me one night. After having been off the throttle for about 10 second and back to the speed limit, they FLEW by headed toward a corner. If that kid would've crashed... ****ing idiot.

Well the same really could be said about the ones with the S/C 3800......it just depends on how you look at it. Its all in what you want to see.

its also in the facts too. the fastest gxp ive seen that was turboed went 12s.....im almost there with pretty minimal mods and i still consider my car slow....prob because my 2 friends drive a 10 sec evo 8 and a TT stealth R/T
 


Here we go again with the GTP vs. GXP shiiit, seriously who gives a fcck? Are either of them really that fun to drive? Not like you can take a corner or shift gears in either unless you get real creative and at that point you should've just bought a rwd/v8/manual. I liked my gtp but I never thought it was any fun compared to my other cars, there's no real argument in the fact that the 3.8 is superior to the 5.3 in terms of modding due to the massive aftermarket opposed to an almost non-existing one.
 
i dont hate on any cars. Everyone has there own opinions i just so happen to like my car. But i do respect other people and there cars. And yes i do like almost all cars :D

I meant what you want to see about the people, not about the cars. Anybody with any car they like be-it the 3800 or 5.3 or an sti or evo or whatever will be naturally at least semi-biased towards there own car and therefor think that if someone else says something good about there car or defends it when people crap talk it that they are people that are just almighty pricks and they just need to shut there c*ck holster.

I didn't get the feeling that this thread is about GTP vs GXP I thought it was about a pimple faced kid that needed and got put in his place:th_biggrin2:. I enjoying hearing these stories, perhaps because I am a high school teacher that has to deal with attitudes all day long.
Whether you have a 3.8 or a 5.3 once you start modding up we all face the same problems: bad transmissions, torque steer and traction issues. I do agree that modding a 3.8 is a lot easier due to all the aftermarket parts and the number of guys out there doing it. The other side of that coin is that I wanted to do something different that's why I went with the build I am trying to complete, nobody has done it before. But like I said once I get finished I will be working through the same problems you guys are dealing with:th_peaceout:.
