you wont believe this! i know a guy who knows a guy who has a cousin who is a friend of a guy who's uncle is the brother of the NHRA VP and he let me race against a top fuel dragster and he didnt do the burnout first so he never got traction and just spun the whole way down the track! sadly he still beat me by 7 seconds:(......ok well maybe thats a little out there. will have pics of camaro today so help me figure out how to get them on here.
 
just a sarcastic way of saying i will have pictures of the car when i can, it woulda been boring just to say ill have pics soon.:th_laugh-lol3:
 




Ahh but the turbo for my car adds 200 whp which will take care of things, I wouldnt poke fun at it too bad tho, a stock "boosted" GTP will still not hang with my "garbage" V8 or the V6 camaro and also makes a significant amount less HP than the two, but everyone is allowed there opinion which is all good, its just suprising to me how much people hate on the LS4....I mean I like it lol:th_winking:

yeah put a turbo on a LS4 and a turbo on a gtp see who wins :th_winking:

your right a stock one wont but a stock gtp with a pulley, headers, tune will def hang. which is a measly 600$ into the motor if you buy used....

but yes everyone is allowed their opinion and i will give you one thing, the ls4 sounds 10x better. :)

technically yes....but thats like saying a pony mustang and a cobra are both from the mustang family...:th_jester:...which is obviously true but you get my point.

i just really wish they dropped an ls1 or ls2 in the gxp and made it rear wheel....i guess they did with the g8 tho..
 
It wouldnt have been based on the w body platform then.

The crankshaft in the ls4 is the largest they could have made it. Thats why its aftermarket it so small.
 


I think just turbo for turbo with nothing else that a gxp would beat a gtp given that it makes about 475 hp to the wheels and does low 12's in the quarter on stock tires with good control. Like I said, I still like it and think it does good. Most cars on the street cant keep up with it, even some of the cars that are suppost to be fast, I know its not a super car but it has plenty of room, plenty of power and can still get up to 30 mpg and to me thats a overall winner lol.
