oh, well yeah, nothing's ever going to sound good after you hear sbc's your entire life.

There is no equal to the sound from a V-8 breathing. All else should be muffled as much as humanly possible, in my opinion.

To the original post... ...when you drive down every mile of road on every single day wondering what that clunk is.

I can second the clunk. I've yet to find where that is in my front end.
 


When people start talking to you about GTOs like you drive one, you tell them its just a GTP and they're like oh, dats cool. True story
 
you know you drive a a gp when after hundreds of hours of trying to get your stock headlights to fit correctly you just give up.
 
When everytime you want to shift out of park, you have to find a sharp object to press the shift-lock release.
 
not sure if this has been said before but.....


you know you drive a GP when after you purchase one, the first thing you do once you've gotten it home is pop the hood and start throwing out plastic, rubber, and start "flipping" things
 


you know you drive a GP when the first place u check when buying a second GP is the rocker panels, rear wheel wells, and strut towers for rust and immediatly say NFW to 99% of them

Mine are completly fine but after all this talk of others failing I'm going to pull mine off and see if they are coated on the back
