im getting the boy painted soon and wanna do something different and i want a new spoiler. im torn between the gen 1 and gen 2 slp wings. le car is white and when its painted its going to be more of that newer pearl white on most gm's. gimme your ideas boys and some girls lol

I wanted the gen 2 forever but mounting holes are my wall. Does the gen 2 mount directly to a regular lid? Cuz I'm thinking that's a no

ya but if your getting it paint why not just fill in the old holes and put the spoiler on that you want instead of going with a spoiler you dont want just because of mounting holes.

Correct. The spoiler named "Gen 2" uses all the mounting holes a factory spoiler has, while the 40th/daytona uses the back holes and the fronts need filled AFAIK.

hmm i see. well its not that i dont like the gen 1 at all and just settling for it. i have grown to love it as ive looked at it from more views ya know? so if the gen 2 is wider in a sense that it will use all mounting holes then i think ill stick with getting it.
