Before going that far... I'd also check the wiring route for the clutch switches. Say they are supposed to ground and run to the trans. I'd check those to ensure they didn't get beaten by being low.

ill check that if i happen to run into it. i dont think that is the issue since the wiring is ran with the whole loom to the PCM through the fender. it doesnt go under the car at all.

i did, however, rub into that loom for a little bit with my tires over the summer until i moved it up higher. i will definitely check it out when i get a chance with the car off the ground.

problem solved, car runs.

over the summer when i was low i ended up rubbing into the fender liners, and coincidentally the wire loom that runs through there too. since then i had moved up the loom, but it looked okay so i paid it no attention. fast forwards to this week a couple of the wires finally corroded through and broke on their own. cut them shorter, spliced in a new section, and the car started right up. it couldn't have been a light, or the radio or something i could have dealt with...but it had to be an ignition wire. oh well, fixed car is fixed. i made sure to tape everything up really nicely this time before i tucked it back up into the upper part of the fender.
 


i did solder it. i had to cut a section out of the wires and i soldered in another section of wire. then i taped those wires up nicely. then i taped up the entire loom with a few layers of tape.

dont you act like i would do it all janky when that is what was the problem in the first place.
 
After the bolt patter speil I figured you needed me to do some quality assurance on your work! LMFAO never the less glad the car runs now!
