So I know I've been tossing up which cam to get the past couple weeks. I'm just trying to find which one would be the best for my situation and driving style. I never ran a 1/4th, and really don't plan on it regularly. Want I want from my car is to keep it like a daily driver that it is, but with some kick. My driving consists of town/city driving. These roads range from 25-50 MPH, so I never really exceed 60mph often. At that, I never really go through more than one gear when going WOT, unless its just a test run on an empty road or something. This is where I'm in a debate
I don't think I'd really need an XP cam for the higher end power for I never really am in that range I don't believe. This leads me to the S1X and the VS. I know some people with the VS and say how its a powerful low end cam that provides the instant increase in power. Also its safe on the valvetrain, and making this car last while modding it is my goal. That's what leads me to VS cam, but others say the S1X is more powerful than the VS but I believe the VS is better suited for the less wear on the valvetrain and the power it can create. Any feedback on my needs would be greatly appreciated.
