xp cam and 105 lifter question



Lifter might be on its way out...spring might be cracked or broken...are you getting a misfire?

Get a video broske.
 
no it should be virtually the same sounding as stock. a little more lope in the exhaust tone. what timing chain did you use. did you make sure the oil pump drive gear is installed?
 
Are you running stock lifters? They shouldn't be making any noise but we're finding on that as these cars age, some are starting to make lifter noise on high ratio rocker or high lift cam setups. You might just need a set of low mileage rockers.
