• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

Xbox One Revealed

the only problem i found with it is the OS they are putting windows 8 on it? i get yeah its a microsoft product and all but the xbox 360 never pushed an os. I find it weird. I still do like the VHS look. when hooked up to all my kick ass home sound system it will fit right in.

Really? Didn't see any of that in the announcement... Believe half of what you hear and half of what you see. Never heard of those before. But PS4 is rumoured to cost $699 or something like that. Which I doubt for now seeing as how your customer base will fall dramatically.

It has already fallen dramatically... The Xbox online/apps has been a large impact on "converting" people. Some of my classmates did a Marketing project on the consoles last semester (360 vs PS3) about the customer base for each one.

I hope its false too.

But the PS3 was around that at launch. At least in Canada it was. Looks like it was 500 for 20 GB and 600 for the 60 GB. E3 06: PS3 launches 11/17--$499 for 20GB, $599 for 60GB - GameSpot.com

The issue is, they need to put better hardware in there in order to produce better graphics, let alone be able to support native 1080P. But that costs big money. I'm personally done console gaming, and if modern trends of DLC and $1000 single GPU video cards become the norm, I might give up gaming period for a while.

i paid ~$800 for my PS3 when i picked it up with an extra controller and an extra game. and i have the old fatty system with the now tiny 80GB hard drive.

i'd pay the same amount without question for a PS4.

i sure as **** hope they make the systems backwards compatible with PS3/2/1 games so that i can keep everything i already have. obsoleting games is ****ing stoooooooooooooooopid.

I always looked into a console based on how many friends had it and what games were available, this time its going to be mostly for the all in one aspect. I'm sick of paying for tv, as soon as my contracts up it's an over the air antennae, a HTPC for a dvr and consoles like this for extensions.
