Ok guys. I know this topic is beat to death but the more I look for a solution, the more I get lost. My keyless entry fob doesn't work. Just put a new batt in it, checked all the fuses and still nothing. I followed the progamming instructions, but when i open the door, i dont hear one ding, i hear 3. then i press and hold both lock and unlock and nothing happends... any ideas???? Did that method of programming even work for anyone????
 


this is why when i first got my car and the fob was busted, (and i didnt know anything about cars lol) i went to the stealership paid like $135 got a new fob and them to program it.
 
ive since learned you can spend like 10$ for a used fob, maybe 20 for a new on on ebay,

the programming for them is the annoyng part.. it involves pulling a fuze, closing the doors, wiggling your noes and sitting in just the right spot to make it work, lol.. os so im told

for me the dealer guy got in the car, pulled the fuse, pushed some buttons on the fob, the horn honked trunk opened and i was done..

hopefully someone who didnt pay the stealership will chime in with instructions
 
Yeah... I found a bunch of how-to topics but none of them work... So i dunno if i need a new fob, or a bad reciever or something. I dunno...
