Ok so im going through the car wash last night and my climate control starts counting up from the 33 it was outside all the way to like 86 or something, then the lights start flickering on the unit. I turn the headlights off and it gets brighter like its supposed to but dont flicker, then all the sudden ALL my dash lights shut off as if I shut the lights off, DIC and everything else got bright, so I turn the lights back on. Then I notice the fog lights wont turn on. Had to be somewhere so I figure ill look at it today, hr later get pulled over because my tail lights arent working!!!! They light up when I use a turn signal or brake but not just when the lights are on....then I get where im going and I shut the car off, open the door and the chime is ringing all quick like I left the lights on but there off!! WTF is going on with this thing?!?!?:th_angry-censored:


oh also my DIC has been flashing all 0.0 for some time now as soon as the car moves st starts doing that and the TC is always off, I cant turn it back on....This car is really pissing me off....kinda wishing I never got that valvecover recall done...
 


I am having the same issue. took my car to the carwash and everything is messing up.

I havent yet found a answer but iam workin on it.
 
My dic is blinking 0. my lights are doing anything goofy. my a/c system was reading weird numbers but theat went away and now i have no abs or trac control.
 


DO either or your cars have a sunroof??? I know i have had blazers and a grandprix at work leak out of the overhead storage units. I dont know if maybe this is what happend to yours and got into your overhead display and messing everything up. Just a thought.
 
yeah have moonroof, im thinking maybe the lights problem could be the actual headlight switch? kinda makes sense...no running tail lights...no fog lights, chime is wrong...thoughts?
 
I had a tuned PCM once... blinked 0 on all the DIC settings. Popped the factory PCM back in and it was all good as new.

I vote bad connection to the PCM or bad PCM.

Possible water issue there also with both of you running through the car wash pcm might have gotten water on the connection, possibly frieing the pcm.

interesting theory....mine is just kinda chillin there since I have a cai but I figured it was a sealed connection like most. Any way to tes it? And if it was fried wouldnt the car not run ya would think?
 


I think i have mine narrowed down to the pcm. But i will let you know. I went up and got the abs scanned today and they said it cant even communicate. So its gotta be the pcm. I took mine out. ssprayed contact cleaner in it and blew it dry plugged it bakc in now my dic shows mpg for a little while but then sarts bliking 0 again.

Where was it tuned from? I am getting a tuned one to replace mine. Where should I go? ZZP or 3800. I used to own a Cobalt SS So i know zzp knows there stuff, but i know they have grand prix issues.

Umm thats impossible considering the PCM came outta the box, and went into my dry car and had the issues right away. Was DOA.

3800 for the DHP tune.

see my abs light isnt on and my abs still works so i doubt thats the issue on my car?

Really it all depends on what part of the pcm got shorted out. There seems to be alot of people having issues with carwashes and the gp. It could be something completely different though. Although i just put my new dic in and it fixed absolutely nothing.
