Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

Yea anytime you start doing hardcore engine work its not easy, but just take it in steps and read read read a lot about it and really understand how it all goes together/comes apart and it makes life a lot easier. At least you have some nice people on here to help support you and give you valuable information. I want to learn a lot more about the 3800/POS tranny i mean ugh 4T65E-HD lol

well, one of my buddies has hooked me up with his ALLDATA acct... exploded view of L67 doesnt look all that complicated. Im sure with the help of them and the community at GPF it will turn out well. back to my question... 97 motor into 2002, any discrepancies?

Its an oldschool pushrod engine. Theres a reason it needs boost to make power.

Granted you get all the parts including the computer and the complete harness, I don't really see what the issue would be.

Not sure if alldata is any dif information wise but you should check out si2000 the gm service guide
You can use it on gpona.com if your a member there has some good info on anything 95ish and up and gm

The LS7 is an old school pushrod motor...along with the ZL1 Corvette from the late 60's...400+ RWHP and no boost...:th_scratchhead:

I think they had just a few more cubes than 231 to work with...:th_thumbsup-wink:

Show me an old school pushrod engine making more than 200 WHP with 231 or less cubes.

427 cubic inches... with a 12.5:1 CR? Thats just ratarded.
