Wrecked car + Dyno for good times...page 50? Eh.

The Blue One
Sold the silver car Monday...picked this up Tuesday.

Priced at some dumb $15K+ price tag, walked out of there with two warranties, about four grand less on the note.

Can't gripe...car is basically spotless in and out...2010 with 30k on the clock, sunroof, leather, heated seats, Sport model...so it has the polished SS wheels, SS catback, with the 2.2 Ecotec LAP. So far, I've noticed about 39.5-41.5 crusing around 75-80.

Only picture I have of it right now...this was after a Meg's hand wash, Turtle Wax Liquid Claybarring, Meg's 2.0 Swirl Remover, M105/M205, then finished with #26 Yellow...needless to say, paint is lookin' weeeeeeeeet. Plans for this thing are drop, tint, and maybe an axle back/airbox mod/WB tune for MPG's.

And yeah...I know...no front lower grille...SS's and sport cars didn't have it...

Re: Racebalt Returns...

Only Sport sedan that had low miles within 500 or so of my place.

I'm getting used to it but I used to have a red Oldsmobile...I like it.

I just don't understand how you guys calculate your gas mileage. Gp's getting over 30, and this over 40?!?!?!

I have a 2.4 g6, and i average 28-30 MPG driving 120 miles a day, cruising at 65-75.

Re: Racebalt Returns...

Ryan complains about his wife's G6 also, and it does have the 2.4, this the LAP...VVT...my old non-VVT car (L61)averaged anywhere from 38-42, depending. My blue car averaged 29+ MPG's on the entire trip to Iowa...about 470 miles out of it. 3.29's if that helps you?

If I city drove the old Cobalt, with the A/C on...I'd have to beat the snot out of it to get it under 20's in the city. This thing so far is delivering about 26-28 city...windows down, being easy on it. Some of the XFE Cobalt guys recorded upwards of 45 mpg's, so I feel left out with my measly 39-40~ish.

As well, my old Cobalt had ported intake/exhaust manny's, ported TB, intake/catback, and it was tuned...I'm not going to do much to this one, but it will be tuned...solely for gas mileage.

And Rayrayray...lower grille for a G5 bolts in...probably what I'm going to do...just like this one,
