Wrapping Crossover

Is there a benefit of heat wrapping the crossover pipe? Will it crack? Also do you think it would be fairly easy to do without taking it off the car? Gracias

Benefit? No, it won't make the car faster, more reliable, or cheaper.
Crack? It may be somewhat more likely but I doubt you'd see an issue on the stock crossover.

If you want to try and keep radiant heat from the crossover throttle body area than yea go for it. It won't hurt anything. I personally think it helps a little for keeping that tb from getting so damn hot. It can be done on the car. I've done it in my gtp and Gxp.

Heat rises. In order to benefit from any kind of wrap, everything exhaust related under the hood would have to be wrapped.

If you want cooler exhaust temps, get headers. Larger diameter, thinner walled piping allows for better cooling over stock manifolds.
