WOW sexy car



I think it's just the Grand Sport that's getting the 4 cylinder. The regular models will have other engine choices including a v6.

GS won't be out til model year 2012.

my local dealer said they'd have regular Regals in the next few weeks.

I think it looks good too.



They just need to come up with a replacement for the G8 already!!!!

It's not as easy as just flying to Australia, buying the car and driving(or even shipping for that matter) it back.
Tons of things to think about, it's right hand drive, not left..
Never really looked into importing one, but it has to meet safety/emissions standards, or it can't even be brought here, and if it doesn't someone who's certified to brining imported vehicles to code has to do the converting to ensure it is.

This car is a fail since that engine sounds like total ass... the 3800 + the blower is tolerable, but the ecotec is NOT.
 


...Crank hp rating only has about 15 horse on the L67 GS and probably costs about 20k more, not to mention it's ugly, and a buick. NOT impressed.
 
I cringe at these new cars. Yea it looks great, but Buick loves to screw cars up with their nasty grills and front end work, plus they try to pass it off as "luxury" and stick it with a massive price tag. Every time I go on to that site I post my same comment in the reaction cloud, "For the love of God put a 6.0 in it" Whoop de doo, a turbo 4 cyl, i'd rather have my gas guzzling V8 that can throw down monstrous amounts of torque that your 4 cyl can't imagine making, and still get good gas mileage while at it, G8 anyone?

The only thing I have hope for now is a Chevy badged VE, and if they do they better keep the L76 and LS3 in it's options.

Are you kidding? GM V6s sound like flushing toilets...in unison.

At least Ecotecs kinda sound like diesels...they're way more efficient too. The 3.8 V6 is dated as hell.

Actually those turbo cars do have pretty impressive torque numbers (for a four cylinder). They are not quite on par with an LS3, but that is a torque monster motor. For economy, comort, and power, they are doing it the right way. :th_winking:
