wow. got KILLED by a volvo s40

About 30 minutes ago I got my a** handed to me by a volvo s40. I would say it was a 2005-2007. It was the Turbo (i could hear it) and manual. Pushing out 218hp.

We were both dead even and stomped on it at 40mph (i know not a good spot for me). we hung for about 3 seconds, he slightly started pulling then all of sudden jetted forward so fast It looked like I was standing still. My jaw dropped.

I raced a 2007 volvo s60 T5 powered with a turbo 257hp engine and we would be neck and neck with me pulling on him at about 70mph. Did that 3 times in a row.

So, either something is wrong with my car or this s40 i ran into tonight was seriously modded. I don't know what the s40 engine sounds like but I could just tell that had some things done to it.

It was still fun.
 


Not sure...I know the s40r or whatever they are are really fkn fast..but still a nice car to hang with..even if it was a few seconds.
 
Yea volvo's are fast and they are defently underestimated like our cars, some people just don't expect it.
 
I know this is a grandprix forum in all but i'd like to show you my favorite volvo that i wouldn't mind owning, I'd never give my gp up for a volvo just to let you all know lol.
It's a volvo c70 coupe and i just like the way it looks, and i love the rims, they are stock btw. I saw one just like this one in a parking lot once and they are just beautiful.
