• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

I don't understand why people try to make a N/A 3800 v6 fast. It just doesn't work! By the time you spend the money to cam and ect. your half way to a turbo kit and spent just as much as a top swap.

These engines like to be blown.

What/Who doesnt like to be blown :th_tongue2:

To properly build up a n/a motor is to bump the compression ratio install larger valves port the heads to be able breath more then u go to a cam upgrade wit more duration preferably a single pattern cam dual pattern came are usually for forced induction cars and you'll need a tight lsa around 110-112 that lsa of 115 you see in cam specs is to keep the vacuum high and to keep the computer happy but to point if u get a n/a 3.8 to have a cr ratio of 10:1 wit a single pattern cam headers 3 inch exhaust better gearing in trans porting the heads out install a torque converter wit a higher stall for better launchs then u have a fast n/a car cost u alot though especially if you don't know how to tear Down a motor and how to smooth out pistons polish valves etc

I've tried five times, and I cannot read that in a single breath.

A single 3 inch exhaust pipe is all that's needed but then again I'm
use to building carbed sbc flat tappet blocks but same principal goes for the 231 v6
