So I was just curious that what is the best way to go about getting the best power when hitting the throttle in my gp. Would it make more power if I eased into the throttle more and more or if i just hammer it? If anyone does track racing when the light hits green do you floor it or progressively push down on the throttle?

the whole idea is to put as much power down to the ground with out spinning the wheels, so you need to adjust as needed for take off, if it dont spin, floor it.

my tires always spin when I floor it. im thinking about switching to a wider wheel and tire. what most people do is put there car in 2nd gear and put the park brake on then start spinning the tires and release the brake

wait wait...What? I knew ive been doing it wrong all along! New PB 60ft here I come!

lets clarify this. people dont START in second gear. people put the shifter in 2, because racekar, and they are starting in first.

turn traction control OFF
then give it just enough gas to NOT spin the tires
once your moving just floor the rest of the way to the finish line
