try un hooking the battery? i just had mine off last night and my trans is shifting quite differently now, its re learning how i drive still.
being that you drove with the donut on the front, for a week, the trans may be all confused and need a reset.
for the record never drive with a donut on the front for any longer than it takes to rotate it with a back wheel.

seen an impala or something the other day, had a donut on the front right wheel i was like ha, you're ate up with dumbass.
