thinking of leaving the gp scene and going for a Cadillac Seville (1998-2003). I just love the V8 and sound. just as fast as the gtp but i know you cant mod them like a gp which i like. i drive my friends every once and awhile and love it. but i love my gtp. so just thought id hear some input from you guys haha

The engine in Caddy's are throw away, unrebuildable, unlike the great 3800 series.

The northstar engine are a pile of crap! They can't keep a head gasket on them, and the internals are not as bullet proof as the 3800. Don't waste your money on a caddy with the northstar engine, just get you a GXP, you will be happier in the long run.

I know opinions are like assholes and everyone has one but I wouldnt trade or sell my car for a older caddy.....now a CTS-V different story...

Goodluck the northstar suck ass on gas. My dad has a 2000 deville and when I drive it avg about 14 mpg. Face palm.
