• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

Work junk, and junk... at work. By 'junk.

i saw all them stickers ans was like nice. you should next time you see him with his belt so low; you should pull his undies right on up for a nice wedgy

Gonna need some ten foot needlenose for me to try that! Could just hook him to something and let him do it to himself lol. But see that left ankle? Yeah thats the one he chopped half off with a gas tank edge. Nice recovery, looks to be working pretty good there. It would be very mean to tip his balance because that thing still hurts. Tempting! But too mean.

BTW my still-favorite Chevy in the world was in today, Jake put a new rear bumper on it, and that makes all new exterior chrome now. Damn the guy keeps this thing minty. Did that car four years ago and still love to stare at it.

More a-peel-ing with stripes, ain't it? Hope it doesn't go sour on us ha ha. Front end parts are being shot at the moment!

My brother had a bone stock one of these when we were growing up; but is was the non-fast back style. Gas Monkey did one a while back, which always makes me think of my bro's. Similar colour too.......

I had a '67 HT sedan in college. They are tanks. Beautiful ones.

Where did the week go? Damn. Heres a Camaro update-

When I came out of a store at lunch today, a '15 yellow and black Camaro had parked next to me. But later I helped shove the '68 into the assembly arena, and man yeah that color is loud outside. People are gonna love the Lemon Peel.

Anyway so I took a few parts back there and snapped a few under the strange lighting, as an update. The owner was right there when I took these, and he is very much stoked. The guy putting it together is in the middle of another '34 floor currently, a coupe this time. So updates will slow down for awhile but the other Camaro may see more action soon so keep em peeled and thanks for looking.

It is loud for sure. Had a visit from an ex co-worker, and she just picked up a 2010 SS (only has 7000km/4300miles on it) in "Yellow Peel". Picture doesn't do it justice.....

I rode in an orange '10 SS once. Most memorable thing was the hardcore wind buffeting inside the cabin at 100+ :th_winking:

Heres a few shiny pics to look at. I see rotors! The doors and lid are not final-gapped, just hung to be out of the way. I'm working on the little roadster's body shell now.

This week the front end was fitted for stripe alignment and painting. Man is it gonna be slick!

Assembly should take off now. Mike has been putting floors and firewall in a 34 Ford coupe (see whole car in previous post) and I'm about to take over and patch the roof hole and install hidden door hinges on it. So he can attack the mondo Camaro parts pile and screw chit together. Paint looks great. I have the little Datsun body project ready to be blasted. Parts are all in primer now for that job but who cares its rice.

For the big hole where fabric used to be on the 34 roof, I'll be using this section from the old '69 Camaro roof. That qualifies as junk at work.

Heres ol Yeller-

Kicked that roof job's butt but it was a fight. There were many dots and much hammering-

The jack stands are "cats", not caving it in when they walk on it :th_lightbulb:

Closer-up and with black on it so you can see the seam better-

Some pics of the almost done 67 Ford that I only tore down then installed fabbed bed floor in. Paint doesn't all match perfect, it was painted apart so theres that. Wood kit is being installed over this-

Did I show the blue Mustang and the Riviera? They are both painted, buffed, and mostly assembled but these are all I got-

The 67 Datsun is still in sandblast jail. Actually jus sitting where you see it. I got way ahead of the customer (says he) who is doing the chassis at home.

Way boat tail, the decklid looks like the bat-signal. Its a 73 or 4, I forget. Basque Red Pearl from 2016 Hondas is the color. We hung the hood on it today and chrome is lookin good against the color. It needs the wheels off my 69 GP, bad. They would transform it. Has Buick stockers.

You left me hanging on the daily thread, where do wheels leak?

nice cars. my parents had a 74 with a 455 back in the day.

they tend to leak from the under side, like the rotor caliper side of the wheel. if you got chrome there and its peeling they are leaking for sure.

regal wheels are famous for this. not so sure bout the gp wheels. i pumped mine up and used soapy water and found that treat. new wheels time lol

Surely the tire guy is hip to that. Yeah right. No peely stuff, its a great looking TS wheel. Maybe I'll suggest deeper water in the soapy water thing.

it was really odd how it leaked. not huge bubble, little bubbles like from a sponge. and it took a few minutes to show its self too. leaked worse when winter came round too. you know, small air lol

That is one of the perils of casting anything... porosity can arise and bite ya. Well, I'll see what they find. All my decent wheels are in that set so fug.
