Woodward Dream Cruise

Hey how many people are going to the Woodward Dream Cruise in August??

I was think we should all meet up somewhere along woodward or something. It'd be pretty sweet to have a ton of grand prixs all hangin out, or we could even all meet up somewhere aside from woodward and then just leave all at once and cruise together.

Just an idea I had, toss any other comments, ideas, or whatever out there
 


Well I am up for anything, more than likely I will be out there. I work at 11 and Woodward, so as long as it's ok with my boss we may have some free parking here as long as others don't steal it first.
 
thats pretty sweet, whats the business at 11 and woodward. I'll be cruisin prolly three times the whole week. especially on saturday, Ill prolly be at the Oakland Community College booth sometime during the day saturday or whenever it'll be there
 


Right on! Hours are 8-6 M-F 8-3 Sat. Where at in Holly are u? My dad lives in Holly on Bush lake and I'm up there visiting occasionally.
 


My dad lives in holly, out in rose township off of milford road. I live in auburn hills, down the road from the palace
 
i really wanted to get up there this year but lost my job june 6th and still havent got any calls,and if i start a new one dont know if i can get the time off being just hired,i moved here may of 07 i went to every wdc since the first one and now this might be the second year since ive been down here i have to miss.i worked a hamilton chevrolet in warren from the first cruise till i moved,i miss the cruise.
 
Just an update!

1 week away!! I will be working the day of and we will be open til 12. No parking will be allowed in our lot during business hours, but after we close I will be charging for parking. Anyone from here or any GP owner who will be coming out to the cruise and want FREE parking let me know!!
 
thanks gtpjoe, so am I. It's grown on me since i bought it and mod the heck out of it, especially after the hood and bumpers are done.

I will be at woodward on saturday but my car is going to be parked and the Oakland Community College booth at 13 mile and woodward right next to some Grand National booth. So if you guys get a chance stop by and check it out. I'll be working there from 12-1 then I'll be back to pick my car up at 4
 


Wish I could meet up with you guys and I'd like to check out your recent work GOINDEF! I've always wanted to make it to a Woodward, but something always comes up. I used to get to MI all the time since alot of my ex's family lived there (Detroit, Rochester Hills, etc.) Not that it matters, my GTP currently has no drivetrain or suspension and needs paint/custom bodywork before it hits the road (probably won't see pavement this year:().

Have fun guys. Someday I will finally make a Woodward, Hot Rod Power Tour, etc. Looking like I'm out for BGPM too most likely this year.
 
thanks man, that sucks that you cant make it to woodward. hopefully someday we'll see ya there. I'm soo pumped for this weekend, I cant wait to finally park my car at a booth and have it sitting on woodward for :th_thumb-up::th_thumb-up:EVERYONE:D:D to see!!!. Remember everyone if you wanna talk to me about the car I'll be at the OCC booth from 12-1 then at 4 again, The booth is located at 13 and woodward
