Won't start after cam install

Since there's two of you.. someone please tell us ..

HOW THE HELL can you put in a lock upside down? I honestly can't fathom how it can be done.
 


The retainer pushes up on the lock based on the spring pressure. How does that lock hold the retainer/spring upside down?

Gotta go back and look at your pics..

lol, im glad my brother was with me, thats all i got to say. allthough i probably would of stumbled onto this thread today like i did anyways and figured it out before i give it a whirl. I used the T handle tool from autozone with knob, somehow i managed. i used TDC with no rope. uyyyy


correct, just the locks were upside down, not the retainers. i left the retainer on the spring in the tool while transferring into the new head.
 


This thread scares me from my thoughts of camming my car lol but good job glad you got it all figured out!
